On 8–10 September 2026, the ECHO consortium gathered in Belgrade, Serbia, for the 4th ECHO Awareness Raising Event and the project’s General Assembly, hosted by partner Institut Mihajlo Pupin (IMP).
The Awareness Raising Event took place on 8 September, bringing together around 30 participants to learn more about the ECHO project and innovative thermal energy storage (TES) solutions for more efficient and sustainable buildings.
Participants were introduced to the latest project developments, the European energy efficiency landscape and the ECHO demonstration site in Belgrade. The event also provided an opportunity to collect feedback and perceptions on thermal energy storage technologies through the project’s awareness survey.
On 9–10 September, ECHO partners gathered for the General Assembly to review the progress achieved across the different work packages and coordinate the next steps. Discussions focused on the technical development and integration of ECHO solutions, activities at the demonstration and simulation sites, and upcoming communication, dissemination and stakeholder engagement activities.
The three days in Belgrade provided an important opportunity to combine technical collaboration and stakeholder engagement, supporting the consortium as ECHO moves forward with its next activities.
