On September 25th, an engaging and fruitful event took place in Brussels, organized under the title: “Thermal Energy Storage Clustering event by CINEA”. The meeting was hosted by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and provided a valuable platform for all projects focusing on Thermal Energy Storage (TES) to exchange ideas and collaborate.
The event was attended by Dr. Laura Fedele, coordinator of the ECHO project, alongside the coordinators of other related projects within the TES Cluster: BEST-STORAGE, HYSTORE, and THUMBS UP.
The primary goal of the event was to offer a unique opportunity for the projects involved to be introduced to each other and to explore possible areas for collaboration—from dissemination activities to more in-depth technical exchanges. The discussions also focused on identifying synergies that could maximize project outcomes or avoid overlaps, enhancing the overall impact of these initiatives.
This collaborative atmosphere provided an ideal setting for strengthening the connections between the TES projects, fostering a cooperative network aimed at innovating and advancing thermal energy storage solutions in Europe.
For further details and insights, stay tuned as ECHO continues to share more updates and outcomes from this key clustering event.
