The article presents ongoing work to identify socio-economic barriers to the adoption of Thermal Energy Storage (TES) solutions in residential settings. As part of this effort, a questionnaire has been developed to assess public awareness and perceptions of TES technologies. The collected insights will support simulations and help implement TES solutions in the project’s case study cities: Crevillente, Bilbao, Padua, Belgrade, and Putte.
